Join us as we feature a lecture in collaboration with “Revival: Lost Southern Voices”, a festival coordinated by Georgia State University.
The intent of “Revival” is to feature the work of those southern voices deserving to be re-discovered, revived, and reread. Featured for this lecture will be Jennifer Colatasi speaking on the construction of the South in Ellison's posthumously published Juneteenth; Andy Rogers on Louis Norton; and Pearl McHaney on Brenda Wilkinson.
Funding for some events at this branch provided in part by the Friends of the Decatur Library.
