Since opening in 1979—together with Georgians from all walks of life—the IRC in Atlanta has welcomed more than 27,000 refugees from 67 countries to rebuild their lives in area communities.
A representative from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) will provide an update on the refugee resettlement program and the impact of recent policy decisions on the number of refugees being welcomed to the U.S., Georgia and Clarkston. Q&A session to follow.
