At 2:15 p.m., Joel Lamp'l will present "Greening Your Garden While Protecting the Planet" at the Decatur Library followed by the Exchange at the Decatur Recreation Center adjacent to the Library.
After the lecture, we’ll be swapping all types of seeds and cuttings for fruit trees (scions), including heirloom seeds, seeds you save from your own plants, and extra seeds you may have purchased. There will be experts on hand to answer gardening questions.
We ask that every participant bring a minimum of five packets of seeds to share. These may be seeds that you have saved or seeds that you have purchased that you distribute over several packets to share with attendees.
This event is free and open to all gardeners. Visit wyldecenter.org to RSVP or for more information including schedule for drop offs and exchange.
