Featuring Barry Stewart Mann, Get in the saddle for tales of librarians – adventures inspired by reading – to get books into the hands of readers near and far.
We’ll journey from the inspiration of Rosalyn Beardshaw’s Lola Loves Stories to the achievements of the actual librarians in Jan Pinborough’s Miss Moore Thought Otherwise, Heather Henson’s That Book Woman!, and Jeanette Winterson’s The Librarian of Basra, and end with an adventure with audience participation, props, costumes, puppets, and story enactment.
