The Spirit of Jazz, a month-long art exhibit featuring the art of Sam D. Burston, celebrates the rich sounds and uniqueness of an original, American art form.
The bold lines, and color, intimate shapes and complimenting patterns chronicles the voices of a people and the music created to help heal their minds, and tell a story of the times.
"The expressions we share in music, instruments, and visual art is what we cannot say in words".
