Learn to sew your own costume. For those who have dreamed of cosplaying for Dragon Con or making a Halloween or Ren Fest costume, or interested in historic garment construction.
In this 8-week course, you will learn how to: develop beginner-friendly designs, work with sewing patterns, understand fabric, use the sewing machine, and master techniques like darts, pleats, gathers, pockets, zippers, and hems that arise as you work through your project. Ideally, you will leave with a finished costume just in time for Halloween.
Machines and basic supplies provide.
