Henry McNeal Blackmon III is a contemporary artist and art instructor from Atlanta, Georgia.
He is an accomplished painter, educator, illustrator, and muralist. Blackmon earned his very first art award at the original Scott Candler Library location in 1980, when he and other children were tasked with illustrating their favorite book. He illustrated his favorite book at the time, Treasure Island, and won first place.
Blackmon's work focuses on history and uplifting the spirit. His exhibit will run throughout June and July.
