A sewing class for beginners.
Learn to sew and advance your skills with a twice-per-month beginners adult sewing club! The first few classes will focus on the basics: using the machine, threading the machine, making a bobbin, understanding fabrics and needles, and learning how to read and select sewing patterns. We will make a simple tote bag to learn, and supplies for the tote will be provided. Future classes will focus on students’ individual, ongoing projects based on their unique experience-levels and goals. Whether you are making clothes, costumes, or crafts, Jessica will be there to guide you in learning new techniques and take you from idea to finished project. This club would be best experienced by someone with the availability to make a continued commitment.
Limited to the first 10 participants, this class will be held on the last two Tuesday evenings of each month, from 5 PM to 7 PM, beginning on June 17th and June 24th.
