DeKalb County Public Library is proud to host storytellers during the 43rd annual National Association of Black Storytellers' Festival and Conference.
Sarai Abdul-Malik is a storyteller, poet, and singer-songwriter who weaves together words, rhythm, and melody to create immersive storytelling experiences. Her storytelling invites audiences of all ages to listen deeply, laugh freely, and rediscover the beauty of human experience through the timeless art of story and song.
This performance is part of the National Association of Black Storytellers' Adopt-A-Teller Community Outreach Program (AATP). AATP is being held during the 43rd Annual National Black Storytelling Festival and Conference based at the Embassy Suites Centennial Olympic Park, November 19-23, 2025. The festival is sponsored by the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc. (NABS) and supported by a grant from, and the Nora Roberts Foundation, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and NABS Legacy Fundraising Campaign.
