DeKalb County Fire Rescue will facilitate this informative workshop on empowering seniors who live independently but are vulnerable to fires and falls within the home.
Learn valuable life-saving tips and safety topics including: cooking safety, heating alternatives, fire safety for traveling, it's electric, hoarding and fire risks, smoke alarms, fall prevention, exploring extinguishers, batteries and devices, having an escape plan, and much more. Facilitated by the Public Education Specialist from DeKalb County Fire Rescue Public Education Unit.
