Kids will learn how to: identify and reduce triggers, recognize the early signs of an episode, manage symptoms, use a peak flow meter, and create an action plan.
An American Lung Association's 5-week course, led by certified program facilitator, Inuka Midha, PhD, MPH, MCHES®. Participants will receive for their participation: a Certificate from the American Lung Association, an asthma friendly school bag containing a Peak flow meter, a spacer, workbook, headphones and more will be provided! This health management course is a partnership with the American Lung Association, the DeKalb County Board of Health, and DeKalb County Public Library.
