Seek out Gnome Homes at our six DeKalb County Fruitful Library Gardens to learn about pollinators, get fun facts from the Gnomes themselves, and enter to win your own Gnome Home.
It’s Gnometober for DeKalb County Public Libraries and Roots Down! Starting October 1, visitors to the Clarkson, Hairston Crossing, Lithonia-Davidson, Redan-Trotti, Salem-Panola, and Stonecrest Libraries will spy the homes of tiny gnomes in our Fruitful Library Gardens. Download the Roots Down app or visit rootsdownga.com to view blog pages for the new gnome residents, including an artist depiction of each gnome, why they love the library they’re visiting, and information about their favorite pollinators. Post images of all six Gnome Homes on Instagram using the hashtag #gnometober22 to be entered to win your very own Gnome Home!
