Let's make a t-shirt! For this two-part class, we will sew the Jackson Tee and Pullover from pattern maker Helen's Closet.
In the first session, we will learn about body measurements and how to take them, deciding the right size for your body, printing and putting together a pdf pattern, and cutting out fabric. In the second class, participants will sign up for time slots to receive individual instruction on using a serger machine to put the shirt together.
Participants should be able to attend sessions on both March 16 and March 23. All materials will be provided.
Support is provided by the DeKalb Library Foundation.
