This series of 6 free classes by the Atlanta Regional Commission teaches participants how to balance activity and rest, eat healthier, manage stress, and talk about health conditions with confidence.
Managing your Health Conditions can be stressful and challenging. The Atlanta Regional Commission has a series of programs that are proven and tested to help with that! Our Aging Well Workshops will give you the tools you need to stay in control and keep your health a priority. This highly interactive, small group class will meet weekly for six weeks for 2.5 hours, and will teach you how to balance activity and rest, embrace healthy eating, manage stress, increase confidence in talking about your health condition(s) with family and friends, and so much more. It is at no cost to you as a participant and includes a resource book that helps to guide you during the workshop and beyond. Join us every Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., starting on October 6th and ending on November 17th. Class size is limited, so make sure to register!
