Tea, Cake, and Mortal Stakes: Death Café at Chamblee Library
Wednesday, November 18
1:00pm - 3:00pm
Join us for an open, respectful, and lively conversation about the mystery of death and the reality of dying.
Whether you want to share your own perspectives, ask big questions, or just listen to what others have to say, everyone is welcome. Bring your basic curiosity and join your neighbors to break the taboo around discussing our finite lives. Leave with a deeper appreciation for the life we have in the here and now.
This gathering will be hosted by facilitators Kelly Sklare (CNM, FNP, grief educator) and Carrie Tatro (freelance writer, rare bookseller), who are both INELDA-trained end-of-life doulas
affiliated with The Grief House at Legacy Park.
