Introduction to Hydroponic Seed Starting

Presented by the Jenkins Family Nature Preserve, participants will build their own hydroponic starter system, plant seeds, and learn to care for seedlings from germination through harvest.
Discover how to grow vegetables without soil using one of the simplest hydroponic systems available. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the Kratky Method, a passive hydroponic growing technique that requires no electricity, pumps, or complicated equipment.
Open to the first 15 participants, children welcome with an adult.
